Yogita Lokhande
Yogita Lokhande is a graduate in architecture from the Kamala Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute of Architecture (KRVIA), Mumbai. She has been a Postgraduate Fellow at the KRVIA, where she was also Visiting Faculty and part of the KRVIA Design Cell. In her fellowship, she undertook research on real estate development in Mumbai. In the Design Cell, she was involved in the Tate Modern Century Cities exhibition in London, in documentation and conservation of the heritage precincts of Dadar-Matunga-Wadala, and of the redevelopment of Mumbai’s Eastern Waterfront. Her research interest is in understanding the ways in which the conflicting interests of actors, agencies and communities can be coordinated in the context of urban interventions. In CRIT, she is involved in development of plans for Kamathipura-Kumbharwada-Khetwadi, Bandra Reclamation, and Vasai-Virar, and was part of the Image Cities exhibition in Copenhagen.
